Set in the far Northern Province of South Africa on a vast area with game in abundance, 
Sheldrake Game  Ranch offers bow hunters a truly unique experience.

Sheldrake has 30 blinds to choose from including ant hill shaped blinds, baobab blinds,
popup blinds and stand blinds.
All blinds are situated at waterholes or feeding points to ensure the best hunting opportunities.
Most hunts are done by means of ambush but limited walk and stalk hunts are also catered for.

We also have crossbows available for rental (at R100/day).

Clients are provided with a 2-way radio, a well-trained guide and can be assured of a successful and  memorable hunt.  The hunter is linked by radio to base and once the successful arrow has been shot, the carcasses are promptly removed and taken to the fully-equipped  slaughtering facilities.

Experienced staff members prepare capes for trophy  mounting.  Cold room and freezer facilities are also available.

The ranch is about four-and-a-half hours drive from Gauteng and have two 1000 meter airstrips for 
those wishing to arrive by plane. Well-equipped and fully serviced accommodation  
facilities are available.
