-Ranch History-
Sheldrake Ranch started game hunting on 3700acres in 1982 when
the farm was stocked
with game. In 1984 the ranch was expanded to 7400acres to
accommodate more game.
In 1988, due to tremendous grouth, another neighbouring farm was
bought and the
ranch was then 15 000acres big.

In 1989 the
ranch was expanded to 25 000 acres when yet another neighbouring
farm
was bought. This made room for even more game, and more hunters
could visit Sheldrake.
During 1994 Sheldrake was expanded to 28 500 acres and in
2000 again to bring the
total to 30 000 acres (12 000ha).

Sheldrake also has a
large herd of disease free buffalo.
A limited number of buffalo are being made available for sale
or hunting from time to time.
